8. Messages
This menu allows you to send and receive text or
multimedia messages, as well as manage the
messages you have sent and received. In idle mode,
press left softkey to access Messages menu directly.
You can also press
, and select Messages to create,
edit and send your messages.
Create Message
When you have accessed the Messages menu, you
can press left softkey Select and select SMS or MMS
to create your message.
When writing messages, you can toggle between
smart input multitap and numeric by pressing #
SMS
SMS enables you to send text messages to the other
party, using Short Messaging Service (SMS),. You
can use the SMS menu to send messages to another
another or a device that is capable of receiving
SMS. To compose and send an SMS, follow the
steps below:
1. Select Create Message and press left softkey
and select SMS. Then enter your text and
pressleft softkey to access the following
options:
Continue Add from contacts: Select the
recipient from
Contacts list.
Recipient from group: Select the
recipient from
Groups .
Enter number: Enter the phone
number of the recipient.
Text format Alignment: Select from: Left, Center
or Right.
Text size: Select from: Small, Normal
or Big.
Style: Select from: Normal, Bold or
Italic.
Attribut: Select from: None,
Underline or Strikethrough.
Save as Save the SMS as Draft or Template.
Preferred
edition mode
Select from: Smart or Multi-tap.
Text input
language
Set the Text input language from the
list.
