SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES
1. This speaker is for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
2. Read these INSTRUCTIONS and keep them in a safe place.
2. Heed all WARNINGS and follow all INSTRUCTIONS.
3. DO NOT use speaker near water and/or damp locations.
4. DO NOT position speaker close to any FLAMMABLE MATERIALS while operating.
5. DO NOT place any objects filled with liquid on or near the speaker such as vases or drink glasses.
6. DO NOT attempt installation and/or operation without knowledge how to do so. Consult a
professional sound equipment installer for proper and safe speaker installation.
7. DO NOT shake speaker, avoid brute force when installing and/or operating.
8. Be sure to install this speaker in an area that will allow proper ventilation. Allow approximately 6
inches (152mm) behind the speaker cabinet for proper cooling. The speaker contains an internal power
amplifier that produces heat during use.
9. DO NOT use solvents or glass cleaner to clean speaker. Clean only with a dry cloth.
10. ALWAYS disconnect speaker from main power source before performing any cleaning.
11. DO NOT block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
12. DO NOT install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
13. DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has
two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
14. Protect the power cord and audio cable from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they connect to the speaker.
15. DO NOT operate speaker if the main power cord has become frayed, crimped and/or damaged.
Replace any damaged power cords with a similar power rating.
16. Only use attachment/accessories specified by the manufacturer and listed in this guide.
17. Unplug the speaker during lightning storms and/or when unused for long periods of time.
18. DO NOT disassemble speaker, there are NO user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to
qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the speaker has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled and/or objects have fallen into
the speaker, the speaker has been exposed to rain and/or moisture, does not operate normally, or has
been dropped.
19. Power Sources: This product should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in
these operating instructions, or as marked on the unit.
20. Internal/External Voltage Selectors: Internal or external voltage selector switches, if any, should
only be reset and reequipped with a proper plug for alternative voltage by a qualified service
technician. Do not attempt to alter this yourself.
21. Water and Moisture: This product should be kept away from direct contact with liquids. The speaker
shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall
be placed on the speaker.
22. Protective earthing terminal: The speaker should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a
protective earthing connection.
23. DO NOT install this equipment in a confined or "boxed-in" space such as a bookcase or similar unit,
and maintain good ventilation conditions. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the
ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
24. When moving or not using the appliance, secure the power cord (e.g., wrap it with a cable tie). Be
careful not to damage the power cord. Before using it again, make sure the power cord has not been
damaged. If the power cord has been damaged at all, bring the unit and cord to a qualified service
technician for repair or replacement as specified by the manufacturer.
25. Use the original packaging and materials to transport the speaker in for service.
