InstallingYourOutdoorRefrigerator
Theoutdoorrefrigeratorshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithlocalelectricalcoderequirements.Itshouldalsobe
placedinalocationthatisstrongenoughtosupportitstotalweight,keepinginmindthatitwillweighsubstantially
morewhenfullyloadedthanwhenempty.
Beforeyouplugtherefrigerator
intoapowersupply,besuretolet itstanduprightforatleast24hourstoallowthe
compressor’soilstosettle.
WARNING:Usetwoormorepeopletomoveandinstalltherefrigerator.Failuretodosocanresultinbackorother
injury.Carefullyremovethepackagingmaterials.
Removeanyshippingtapeandgluefromyourrefrigeratorbefore
using.Donotusesharpinstruments,rubbingalcohol,flammablefluids,orabrasivecleanerstoremovetapeorglue.
Theseproductscandamagethesurfaceofyourrefrigerator.
IMPORTANT:Donotremoveanysafety,warning,orproductinformationlabelsfromyour
refrigerator.
TYPESOFINSTALLATION:
Thisoutdoorrefrigeratorhasbeendesignedforfree‐standingorbuilt‐ininstallation.Ineverycase,theremustbe
adequateventilationandaccessforservice.
Free‐standinginstallation:Afree‐standinginstallationwillallowyoutoinstalltheoutdoorrefrigeratorinalmostany
placeyoudesire.Youmustfollowthe
statedinstructionsforelectricalrequirementsandlevelingtherefrigerator.
Built‐ininstallation:Arecessedinstallationwillallowyoutoinstalltherefrigeratorunderacounterorinakitchen
cabinetprovidedtheclearancespacerequirementsaroundtherefrigeratorarefollowed.Itisnecessarytoallow
adequateventilationspacearoundthe
unit(makesurethereisatleastsomeventilationroomforthebackoftheunit).
Thefollowingadditionalitemsmustbeobserved:
1. Placetheoutdoorrefrigeratorinfrontoftheinstallationlocation.
2. Adjustthefeetandplacetheunitflatonthefloororonaplatform
dependingonyourinstallationrequirements.
3. Iftheelectricaloutletfortherefrigeratorisbehindthecabinet,plugintherefrigerator.
4. Pushtherefrigeratorintoposition.
