InternalLight
Thisrefrigeratorisequippedwithtopandsideinternallightsthatcanbesettoablueorwhitecolor.The
internallightswillilluminatewhenthedoorisopenandturnoffwhenthedoorisclosed.
Theautomaticlightfeatureistriggeredbyasensorlocatedonthefrontvent.Thissensorallowsthe
refrigeratortorecognizewhenthedoorisopenorclosed.
Defrosting
Notethatundermostrefrigeratingsettings,theunitwillautomaticallydefrostundermostambient
conditions.However,oncoldersettings,somefrostmaybuildup.Additionally,themorehumidthe
ambientconditions,themorefrostmaybuildup.Keepthedoorclosedasmuchaspossibleandavoid
openingthedoorunnecessarilytominimizefrostbuild‐up.
Iffrostispreventingthedoorfromclosingproperly,youmayneedtopowertheunitoffuntilthefrostmelts.
Useasoftabsorbenttoweltodrytheunit.
NormalSounds
Yournewrefrigeratormaymakesoundsthatarenotfamiliartoyou.Mostofthenewsoundsarenormal.Hard
surfaceslikethefloororwallscanmakethesoundsseemlouderthantheyactuallyare.Thefollowingdescribes
thekindsofsoundsthatmightbenewtoyouandwhatmaybemakingthem.
• Rattlingnoisesmaycomefromtheflowoftherefrigerantorthewaterline.
• Itemsstoredontopoftherefrigeratorcanalsomakenoises.
• Thehighefficiencycompressormaymakeapulsatingorhigh‐pitchedsound.
• Theinternalfanwillrunfrequentlytocreateaconsistentinternaltemperatureenvironment.
• Waterrunningfromtheevaporatortothewaterbinmaymakeasplashingsound.
• Aseachcycleends,youmayhearagurglingsoundduetotherefrigerantflowinginyourrefrigerator.
• Youmayhearairbeingforcedoverthecondenserbythecondenserfan.
