AW900-SPEC User’s Manual Sample Spectra Here is an example of a relatively quiet environment. If your scan shows that there is low in-band noise on all channels, you will probably want to leave your AvaLAN radio in auto-frequency selection mode, allowing it the opportunity to change channels as needed should interference arise later.
User’s Manual AW900-SPEC This example was taken on a rooftop with a YAGI directional antenna in a relatively noisy urban environment. The amount of in-band interference was low, except at the high end. Auto-frequency selection would allow the AvaLAN Access Point to choose the channel with the lowest bit error rate.
