2.2 General description QAS 45 Pd and QAS 60 Pd
The QAS 45 Pd and QAS 60 Pd are AC generators, built for
continuous running at sites where no electricity is available or as
stand-by in cases of interruption of the mains.
The generator operates at 50/60 Hz, 230/240 V in line-to-neutral mode
and 400/480 V in line-to-line mode.
The QAS 45 Pd and QAS 60 Pd generators are driven by a water-
cooled diesel engine, manufactured by PERKINS.
An overview of the main parts is given in the diagram below.
