• If maintenance-information-1 is 1:
The probable causes are:
- The password is incorrect.
- The JP1 user was deleted.
- The JP1 user whose password was to be changed is a linkage user.
• If maintenance-information-1 is 8:
The authentication server is not running or is not responding.
Check whether the authentication server is running.
• If maintenance-information-1 is 24:
The probable causes are:
- The password length was invalid.
- An invalid character was specified for the password.
• If maintenance-information-1 is a value other than the above:
If maintenance-information-2 is a JP1/Base error message, take action according to the instructions given by
that error message. If nothing is indicated in maintenance-information-2, the command execution failed. Contact
the system administrator, and collect data. For details, see 1.2.3 To the system administrators.
