1.2 Message format
This section explains the output format of JP1/AJS3 messages and the description format of messages in this manual.
JP1/AJS3 supports both Japanese and English messages. In UNIX, you can use the LANG environment variable to
specify for each user which language is to be used to display messages.
1.2.1 Format of output messages
(1) Messages beginning with KAJ
This subsection describes the format of messages related to JP1/AJS3 passing information setting jobs.
Each message consists of a message ID, followed by the message text.
Messages are output in one of the following formats:
KAJSnnnn-Z message text
K
System identifier
AJS
Indicates a message relating to a JP1/AJS3 passing information setting job.
nnnn
Message serial number
Z
Message type, as one of the following:
E
Error message. Processing is canceled. However, if you specify more than one name using a command, the
system outputs this message for each name and continues command processing.
W
Warning message. Processing continues after message output.
I
Information message. Reports information to the user.
Q
Query message. Prompts the user to respond.
