Preface
This manual describes the format of messages for Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3
(abbreviated hereafter to JP1/AJS3), and lists the messages beginning from KAJS to KAVT. This manual also describes
how to take actions for the messages.
■ Intended readers
This manual is intended for:
• Those who wish to operate an automatic job execution system with JP1/AJS3 and those who design automatic job
execution systems.
• Those who operate an automatic job execution system with JP1/AJS3.
■ Organization of this manual
This manual consists of the following chapters. The manual is a common reference for all supported operating systems.
Any platform-dependent differences in functionality are noted in the manual.
1. Overview of JP1/AJS3 Messages
Chapter 1 lists the manuals that describe the messages output by JP1/AJS3, JP1/Base, and JP1/IM. It also
describes the JP1/AJS3 message format, output destinations, syslog and Windows event log messages.
2. Messages
Chapter 2 lists the messages beginning from KAJS to KAVT, which are output by JP1/AJS2, and describes
how to take actions based on them.
■ Conventions: Fonts and symbols
The following table explains the text formatting conventions used in this manual:
Text formatting Convention
Bold Bold characters indicate text in a window, other than the window title. Such text includes menus,
menu options, buttons, radio box options, or explanatory labels. For example:
• From the File menu, choose Open.
• Click the Cancel button.
• In the Enter name entry box, type your name.
Italic Italic characters indicate a placeholder for some actual text to be provided by the user or system. For
example:
• Write the command as follows:
copy source-file target-file
• The following message appears:
A file was not found. (file = file-name)
Italic characters are also used for emphasis. For example:
• Do not delete the configuration file.
Monospace
Monospace characters indicate text that the user enters without change, or text (such as messages)
output by the system. For example:
