NOTE: Under no circumstances should oil change inter-
vals exceed 8,000 miles (12 875 km) or 6 months, if
regular operation occurs with greater than 5% and less
than 20% biodiesel blends. Under no circumstances
should fuel filter intervals exceed 20,000 miles (40
233 km), if regular operation occurs with greater than 5%
and less than 20% biodiesel blends. Failure to comply
with these Oil Change and fuel filter requirements for
vehicles operating on biodiesel blends up to B20 may
result in premature engine wear. Such wear is not cov-
ered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The engine
may suffer severe damage if operated with concentra-
tions of biodiesel higher than 20%.
TRAILER TOWING

on limits to the type of towing you can reasonably do
with your vehicle. Before towing a trailer, carefully
review this information to tow your load as efficiently
and safely as possible.
To maintain the New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage,
follow the requirements and recommendations in this
manual concerning vehicles used for trailer towing.
Common Towing Definitions
The following trailer towing related definitions will assist
you in understanding the following information:
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
The GVWR is the total allowable weight of your vehicle.
This includes driver, passengers, cargo and tongue
weight. The total load must be limited so that you do not
