9.2 Draining condenser (only water-cooled devices)

Operating personnel
1. Temper the device to approx. 20 °C. Switch off the device.
2. Unscrew the tube at the cooling water inlet from the device.
3. Leave the tube at the cooling water outlet screwed to the
device. Insert the other end of the tube into a drain or a con-
tainer.
4. Remove the water filter from the threaded connection. Clean
the water filter and then put it back into the threaded connec-
tion.

5. Switch on the device and set the setpoint on the device to
10 °C.
6. Blow compressed air into the water inlet immediately after
starting the compressor. Continue blowing compressed air
through the device until all the cooling water has flowed out
of the device.
7. Switch off the device.
