1.2 Intended use
The present device is exclusively permitted to be used for tem-
pering and delivering non-combustible heat transfer liquids in a
closed circuit.
The following applications are considered to be not-intended:
 medical applications
 in potentially explosive areas
 for tempering foodstuffs
 with a glass reactor without overpressure protection
1.3 Foreseeable misuse
Misuse of the device must be prevented in any case.
The following applications are considered to be foreseeable
misuse:
 Operation of the device without heat transfer liquid
 Incorrect connection of hoses
 Set-up on table-like surfaces
 Setting an incorrect pump pressure
1.4 Modifications to the device
Any technical modifications to the device are prohibited. Service
work is only permitted to be carried out by the LAUDA Constant
Temperature Devices service or one of the service partners author-
ised by LAUDA.
1.5 Heat transfer liquid
 The device is exclusively designed for
nonflammable heat
transfer liquids in Class I according to
DIN 12876-1.
 Heat transfer liquids are used for the temperature control. Only
LAUDA heat transfer liquids are approved for the device.
LAUDA heat transfer liquids have been tested and approved by
the company LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GMBH & CO. KG.
