The following table shows BCS command characters (keys), their
functions, and short descriptions of their functions.

Change
Initiates an execute switch command
L
Level
Flags the next1-3digit number as a level number

Number
Identifies inputs, outputs, presets, and levels; combine
the digits to form larger numbers

Input
Flags the next1-3digit number as an input specification
O
Output
Flags the next1-3digit number as an output
specification
Note:
O is the letter O, not the number zero (0)
“ ” Space
Separates numbers in multiple number entries
T
Take
Executes a command
X
Exit
Exits, or cancels, the command being entered
S
Status
Initiates verification of the status of input and output
connections
D
Disconnect
Initiates a disconnect switch command
R
Global Preset
Initiates an execute global preset or execute local preset
command
Note: Global presets are not implemented at this time
P
Local Preset
Flags the next1-3digit number as a local preset number
VA
Volume Absolute
Flags the next1-3digit number as the volume
adjustment to a specific decibel level
VR
Volume Relative
Flags the next1-3digit number as the volume
adjustment of a specific decibel amount
VS+ or
VS-
Volume
Increment/
Decrement
Adjusts volume of a specified output up or down a step
