– Filter
The KWL compact unit is equipped with fine filters on the outside and extract air side as standard
(pursuant to DIN EN 13779):
• Outside/exhaust air:

The filters must be regularly checked (see controller display factory setting every 6 months) for degree of
soiling (danger of mould formation) and, if necessary, cleaned. They must be exchanged for hygiene reasons
through one-off extraction or after one year of operation at the latest.
If the filters are damp or mouldy, they must be exchanged immediately!

6.3 Reset function
The manual reset takes place by pressing the reset lever (Fig.24), which is located directly on the electrical pre-heater.
Proceed as follows:
The unit must be must be disconnected from the power supply before any maintenance and installation
work or before opening the switch room!
1. Turn lid (1) and open “outside air” inspection flap 2. Pull both filter locks downwards
3. Remove outside air filter 4. Press down reset lever
5. Subsequently re-insert outside air filter. Pay attention to air direction arrows!
6. Close inspection flap and reconnect ventilation unit to power supply.
