1. With the engine running, set the parking brake (see previous

information for manual transmission vehicles).

2. Press the optional dash mounted activation button.

3. The parking lights turn on and the remote start activates the igni-

tion outputs. The Remote Start LED and On tones play to conﬁrm.

4. Turn Off and remove the key from the ignition switch, the engine

remains running.

5. Exit the vehicle, close all the doors and arm the system.

6. The engine runs for the Turbo Mode runtime.

Note

Turbo Timer must be turned on and the optional dash mount-

ed push button must be installed by an authorized Directed

dealer.

Remote Start Faults

For user safety, the system must be properly conﬁgured or remote

start will not activate. The Remote Start Fault output (Remote Start LED

illuminates and long fault tone) may be caused by any of several

conﬁguration issues. Refer to the following table for the command

type and parking light ﬂashes that will identify the conﬁguration issue

and solution.
