Operation Manual
Other
Delete route after reaching destination - deletes the route
after reaching the END point.
Sort THROUGH points - the function automatically activates
a simple THROUGH points optimization: it finds the THROUGH
point next (as the crow flies) to the START point. Then the
following point is found next to the one found previously. It
goes on until all THROUGH points become reorganized.
After mapping - chooses which view is to be displayed
directly after the route is mapped. This option may display the
entire route, route information or the first manoeuvre on the
given route (with the pilot panel), alternatively, the map view
may remain unmodified.
Optimal route - parameterises the optimal route mapping
algorithm to ensure that the mapping process relies more on
road throughput (fast route) or road length (short route).
ETA
In the last window, you can set the length and frequency of the
planned stops in the route, as well as the ETA (Estimated Time
of Arrival).
This window allows to determine the method in which the
system will estimate time needed to reach the destination. For
this purpose, the system may use declared average speeds (the
vehicle data settings screen), the AutoMapa Traffic system
and/or the average current speed. By default, the first two
parameters are used. The km/h value at the top of the screen is
the current average vehicle speed calculated by the program.
If you enable the use only av option, determining the ETA will
only show in the pilot when the navigation has been in operation
for at least the period set by the 'Calculate av. Speed from last'
parameter.
3.3.3 GPS - Settings
General
In this window you can select the general settings for GPS
operation.
Option Start GPS at program start is automatically enabled
by default.
Synchronize clock with GPS time - the computer's
system time is synchronised with the time of the GPS signal.
GPS connected to port and Reading speed from port -
selection of GPS port and its speed is made automatically in the
COM1-9 range for speeds 4800 and 9600 bps. If the GPS device
uses a different COM port or different port speed, manually
select the correct parameters in accordance with the data
provided by the manufacturer.
