Mudbox Licensing

For Mudbox on Windows, all licensing procedures are described in the main

Stand-Alone Licensing (page 5) and Network Licensing (page 13) chapters in this

guide. For Mudbox on Mac OS X or Linux, use the following sections for information

on using the Transfer License Utility and the Network License Manager.

Mudbox Stand-Alone Licensing

Transfer your stand-alone license (Mac OS

X or Linux)

NOTE For Windows, the license transfer process is described in the main part of

this licensing guide. Use the following instructions if you are importing and exporting

your stand-alone license using the License Transfer Utility on Mac OS X or Linux.

To open the License Transfer Utility and import or export your stand-alone

license

1 Do either of the following, depending on your platform:

■ (Mac OS X) Navigate to

/Applications/Autodesk/<productName>2012/Licensing/ and double-click

the License Transfer Utility application.

■ (Linux) Open a shell and run the following command, where

<productKey> is your product key:

/opt/Autodesk/Adlm/R4/bin/LTU <productKey> 2012.0.0.F
