in saving Paint setups and preferences differ slightly from those involved in saving setups in most other
tools
NOTE Custom brushes, brush sets, colour pots, and palette setups that you create in Paint are stored in your user
directory. These resources are loaded when you specify a user in the Project Management menu.
Saving Setups
You can save pictures, preferences, mattes, palettes, brush groups, brushes, and stamps. You can also save
cutouts, cut sequences, recorded strokes in AutoPaint, as well as geometry created in the Graphics menu.
To save a setup:
1 In the Paint menu, click Save.
2 Select the item you want to save from the option box.

Save an image created in Paint.Picture
Save the matte.Matte
Save the current colour palette.Palette
Save the current set of brushes.BrushSet
Save the brush that is currently active.Brush
Save the Stamp currently in the Stamp window.Stamp
Save the geometry created in the Graphics menu. This also includes all cutouts.Geometry
Save the cutouts created in the CutOut menu.CutOut
Save the cutout sequence created in the CutOut menu.CutSequence
Save the last series of recorded strokes.AutoPaint
Save current preferences.Preferences
Save current default values.Defaults
The file browser appears, listing any existing setups for that item.
3 Type the name of the setup in the Save field.
4 Press Save (Enter) to save the setup.
