Autodesk Vault is the preferred data management system for Autodesk
Inventor. Its capabilities extend beyond the data management scope of projects.
After you install Autodesk Vault, use the Project Wizard to create a vault
project. Specify a personal workspace where you create and edit files. In
addition, you also specify the vault server, its name and the virtual folder
stored on the server. (These values are set using Autodesk Vault.)
For more information about using Autodesk Vault, see Managing Your Data.
The guide is installed in Program Files > Autodesk > Vault 2009 > Help.
