Calculating Cipolleti Weir Values
Use the Weirs ä Cipolleti command on the Hydrology menu to calculate weir
values using the Cipolleti formula. A Cipolleti weir is trapezoidal in shape, and
has side slopes of 4 vertical to 1 horizontal. For more information, see Cipolleti
Weir Formulas in this chapter.
The following illustration shows Cipolleti weir values with the wetted width of
(T) = b + ½ h:
