Superelevation Method E: This superelevation method holds the inside
edge of a section of a non-crowned pavement with a straight cross slope and
forces the outside edge of pavement up. The following illustration shows
superelevation method E:
Editing the Superelevation for One Section
at a Time
To edit the design control for one section at a time
1 From the Cross Sections menu, choose View/Edit Sections.
2 You can use the Sta option to move to the cross section you want to edit, and
then enter the number of the station to move to. Or, you can use the Next
option to move through the stations.
3 Type E for Edit.
4 Type C for Control to display the Control Editor.
5 Click Template Control to display the Template Control dialog box.
6 In the Superelevation frame, use the popup list to set the pivot point.
7 Select the template you want to use.
8 Enter the datum number.
9 Edit the template superelevation parameters, if necessary. For more information,
see Editing the Template Superelevation Parameters in this chapter.
10 Edit the template transitions, if necessary.
11 Click OK to return to the Template Control dialog box.
12 Click OK to return to the View/Edit options.
13 Press ENTER to exit the View/Edit options.
