Listing the Difference in Elevation of Two Points
In the Profile
You can retrieve depth values from profiles by using the List ä Depths
command to list the difference in elevation between two points in the profile.
This command uses the vertical exaggeration at which the current profile was
created to determine the actual difference in elevation between two points. For
example, if the vertical exaggeration is 10, an actual vertical difference of 43.7 is
calculated as a 4.37 unit difference in elevation.
To list the difference in elevation between two points in the profile
1 From the Profiles menu, choose List ä Depths.
2 Select the two points between which you want to list the depth. You can use
object snaps to select the points. The command lists the depth between the two
selected points.
3 Continue to pick points, or press ENTER to end the command.
