NOTE By default, the Coordinates panel is hidden in the Drafting & Annotation
workspace. To display the Coordinates panel, click the View tab, then right-click
and choose Show Panels, and then click Coordinates. In 3D workspaces, the
Coordinates panel is on the Home tab.
To save a UCS definition
1 Right-click the UCS icon, and click Named UCS Save.
2 Enter a name.
You can use up to 255 characters, including letters, digits, and the special
characters dollar sign ($), hyphen (-), and underscore (_).
To restore a named UCS definition
Right-click the UCS icon, click Named UCS, and then click the UCS
definition you want to restore.
To select a preset UCS orientation
1 Click View tab Coordinates panel Named UCS.
2 In the UCS dialog box, Orthographic UCSs tab, select a UCS orientation
from the list.
3 Click Set Current.
4 Click OK.
The UCS changes to the selected option.
To rename a UCS definition
1 Click View tab Coordinates panel Named UCS.
2 In the UCS dialog box, Named UCSs tab, right-click the UCS definition
you want to rename, and click Rename.
3 Enter a new name.
4 Click OK.
