2 In the Drafting Standards dialog box, in the Thread style section, click
the desired thread style.
3 Click OK.
To specify the preview style
1 Click Annotate tab Drawing Views panel Dialog Box Launcher.
2 In the Drafting Standards dialog box, from the Preview type list, select
the desired preview style.
3 If you selected Shaded, from the Shaded view quality list, select the desired
resolution.
NOTE Resolutions above 150 DPI may not be achievable for larger models.
If you use a high resolution setting, at view creation time, the resolution
adjusts automatically for larger models.
4 Click OK.

The first drawing view you place in a layout is a base view. Base views define
the scale, display settings, and alignment for subsequent views.
The base view creation process begins when you click the Base View button
on the Ribbon, from a layout. The process of selecting the source 3D model
differs depending on whether the source is an AutoCAD 3D model or an
Inventor model. Once the 3D model to use is determined, the following takes
place:
