When the source 3D models change, drawing views derived from that model
become out-of date. AutoCAD highlights out-of-date drawing views by
displaying red markers on the corners of the view border.
To synchronize an out-of-date view with its source 3d model, update the view.
You can use the EXPORTLAYOUT command to export a layout containing
drawing views to the model space of a new drawing. The exported drawing is
no longer associative with the 3D model, and hence you can edit view
geometry without any restrictions.
