Associates materials with layers.
Summary
All objects on the layer that have their Material property set to BYLAYER have
the specified material applied.
List of Options
The following options are displayed.
Materials List
Lists all the materials in the drawing, both in use and not in use. Drag a
material onto a layer in the Layers List to apply the material to that layer.
Layers List
Lists all layers in the drawing and in any external references applied to the
drawing. When a material is applied to the layer, that material is displayed
next to the layer. Use the Detach button to remove the material from the
layer.
NOTE If you change the association of a material to a layer in an xref, the change
is not saved back to the xref drawing.
