Access Methods
Menu: Tools ➤ Drafting Settings
Shortcut menu: Press Shift while right-clicking in the drawing area and
click 3D Osnap ➤ Osnap Settings.
Toolbar: Status bar ➤ 3D Object Snap

669. You can also set the 3D object snap settings with the

NOTE Because 3D object snaps can slow performance, select only the object snaps
you need.

The following prompts are displayed.
Enter List of Object Snap Modes Specify one or more object snap modes by
entering the first four characters of the name. If you enter more than one,
separate the names with commas.
■ ZVERtex. Snaps to a vertex or a control vertex.
■ ZMIDpoint. Snaps to the midpoint on a face edge.
■ ZCENter. Snaps to the center of a face.
