NOTE SPLINEDIT automatically converts spline-fit polylines to splines even if you
immediately exit SPLINEDIT after selecting the spline-fit polyline.
List of Prompts
The following prompts are displayed.
Select spline:
Enter an option [Close on page 1835/Join on page 1836/Fit data on page 1836/Edit
Vertex
on page 1837/convert to Polyline on page 1839/Reverse on page 1839/Undo

Close/Open
Switches between Close and Open, depending on whether the selected spline
is closed.
Close Closes an open spline and makes it tangentially continuous (smooth)
at its endpoints. If the spline's start point and endpoint are the same, this
option makes the spline tangentially continuous at both points.
Open Opens a closed spline. If the spline's start point and endpoint were the
same before using the Close option, the spline is returned to its original state.
The start point and endpoint remain the same but, lose their tangential
continuity (smoothness).
If the spline was open (its start point and endpoint were not the same) before
using the Close option the spline is returned to its original open state and
tangential continuity is removed.
