Publish Drawing Sets
Design Publisher is an alternative to plotting paper
drawing sets or publishing electronic drawing sets for
viewing and printing. You can then easily distribute the
drawing sets over a network without using AutoCAD
software.
Using Design Publisher saves time and increases
productivity by providing accurate, compressed
representations of AutoCAD drawings in Design Web
Format (DWF) files. This new publishing tool allows you
to create a single multi-sheet DWF6 file or multiple
single-sheet DWF6 files that can be viewed or plotted by
anyone using a free, downloaded DWF file viewer,
Autodesk Express Viewer. Distributing DWF files rather
than DWG files helps ensure data security because,
unlike DWG files, DWF files cannot be changed.
