Compare Markup Objects in RML files and AutoCAD
If an RML file contains a group, markup objects in the group are converted
to AutoCAD objects, but they are not grouped. Other differences between
markup objects in RML files and converted objects in AutoCAD include the
following:
■ Draw order and fills in RML files are ignored in AutoCAD.
■ Inserted dimension objects use the settings of the current AutoCAD
dimension style except dimension text height.
■ Arrowheads may not appear in AutoCAD exactly as they do in Volo View.
Save Multiple Sets of Markups in an RML File
Design team members can create and save more than one set of markups in
an RML file. For example, they can mark up the plan view of a drawing in
model space and then create markups on every layout associated with the
drawing. Each set of markups, for the model space plan view and for each lay-
out, is inserted separately.
