Work with Drawing Files over the Internet | 809
You can specify a folder to contain the individual files of the transmittal set,
or you can create a self-extracting executable or zip file that packages all the
files.
Note You can’t use eTransmit to create transmittal sets of DXF files. To use
eTransmit, you must save the drawing as a DWG or DWT file.
To create a transmittal set in a folder you specify
1 From the File menu, choose eTransmit.
2 (Optional) Specify any additional comments to include with the report
file in Notes.
3 Select Folder from the Type list.
4 Choose Browse to specify a location for the transmittal set. A standard file
selection dialog box is displayed.
5 Navigate to the folder in which you want to create the transmittal set.
6 Choose Open.
7 Select any additional options, such as posting the transmittal set to a web
page or sending it as an email attachment.
8 Choose OK to create the transmittal set in the folder you specified.

ETRANSMIT
To create a transmittal set that is a self-extracting executable or Zip file
1 From the File menu, choose eTransmit.
2 (Optional) Specify any additional comments to include with the report
file in Notes.
3 Select one of the following from the Type list:
■ Self-Extracting Executable (*.exe)
■ Zip (*.zip)
4 Choose Browse to specify a location for the transmittal set.
A standard file selection dialog box is displayed.
5 Navigate to the folder in which you want to create the transmittal set.
