4 Select one or more key fields by clicking in their check boxes.
You should keep the number of key fields to a minimum. Large numbers
of key fields can have a negative impact on the performance of Link Select
and other connectivity operations.
5 Choose OK to create the link template.
To create a link
1 In the dbConnect Manager, open a table that has at least one link
template defined.
2 In the Data View window, select the link template that you want to use
from the Link Template list.
3 In the Data View window, select one or more records that you want to
link.
4 Click the arrow to the right of the Link button to display the drop-down
list.
5 In the drop-down list, click Create Links.
6 Select one or more objects in the AutoCAD drawing that you want to link
the data to.
7 Press
ENTER.
