Note If you have PCP and PC2 files, you can import pen assignment informa-
tion into plot style tables, and you can import plot area and scale information
into the page setup for a layout. Use the Add Plot Style Table wizard and the
Import PCP or PC2 Plot Settings wizard, respectively.
To import PCP or PC2 device settings as you configure a plotter
1 On the Tools menu, click Wizards and then click Add Plot Style Table.
2 Follow the instructions in the wizard.
3 On the Import PCP or PC2 page, click Import File.
4 In the Import dialog box, find and select the PCP or PC2 file whose con-
tents you want to import. Click Import.
5 The Imported Data Information dialog box summarizes the results of
importing the PCP or PC2 file. Click OK.
6 Follow the instructions to finish creating the new plotter configuration.

To import PCP or PC2 device settings into an existing plotter configuration
file
1 From the File menu, choose Plotter Manager.
2 Double-click the PC3 file into which you want to import PCP or PC2 file
settings.
3 In the Plotter Configuration Editor, Device and Document Settings tab,
choose Import.
4 Choose OK in the Plotting Components dialog box.
5 In the Import dialog box, find and select the PCP or PC2 file whose con-
tents you want to import. Choose Import.
6 Choose OK.

To apply PCP or PC2 plot area and scale settings to the current layout
1 From the Tools menu, click Wizards and then Import Plot Settings.
2 In the Import PCP or PC2 Plot Settings wizard, choose Next. Select the PCP
or PC2 file whose settings you want to import into the current layout.
3 On the Browse File Name page, choose Browse.
4 In the Import dialog box, find and select the PCP or PC2 file whose con-
tents you want to import. Choose Import.
