To validate a 3D solid object
1 From the Modify menu, choose Solids Editing ➤ Check.
2 Select the 3D solid object.

ENTER to complete the command.
AutoCAD displays a message stating that the solid is a valid ShapeManager
solid.

Use Windows Cut, Copy, and Paste
When you want to use objects from an AutoCAD drawing file in another
application, cut or copy these objects to the Clipboard and then paste them
from the Clipboard into your file.
Cut Objects
Cutting deletes selected objects from the drawing and stores them on the
Clipboard. The objects are now available to be pasted into other Windows
documents.
