Change Existing Objects
AutoCAD
®
offers two approaches to editing: you can
start a command first and then select the objects to edit,
or you can select the objects first and then start the
command. Double-clicking an object displays the Prop-
erties palette or, in some cases, a dialog box that is
specific to that type of object. This chapter describes
how to select objects, view and edit object properties,
and perform general and object-specific editing
operations.
