Find a Drawing File
You can use the Find dialog box to search for drawings using name, location,
and date filters. For example, you could search a specific network location for
linetype (LIN) files updated within the last ten days.
The Find dialog box for AutoCAD
®
DesignCenter™ provides further options.
You can search for Windows file properties you added to drawings, for
example, title or keyword.
The Select File dialog box displays drawing file previews. When the RASTER-
PREVIEW
system variable is on, AutoCAD automatically generates a raster pre-
view image that is stored with the drawing when you save it.
