Objects are displayed in the raster image as they appear on the screen,
including objects in shaded and rendered viewports.
File formats such as JPEG are compressed as they are created. Compressed files
take up less disk space, but they might not be readable by certain applications.
To create a bitmap file (BMP)
1 At the Command prompt, enter bmpout.
2 In the Create Raster File dialog box, select a folder and enter a file name.
Click Save.
The .bmp extension is appended to the file name.
3 Select the objects you want to save.
To create a JPEG file (JPG)
1 At the Command prompt, enter jpgout.
2 In the Create Raster File dialog box, select a folder and enter a file name.
Click Save.
The .jpg extension is appended to the file name.
3 Select the objects you want to save.
To create a TIFF file (TIF)
1 At the Command prompt, enter tifout.
2 In the Create Raster File dialog box, select a folder and enter a file name.
Click Save.
The .tif extension is appended to the file name.
3 Select the objects you want to save.
To create a Portable Network Graphics file (PNG)
1 At the Command prompt, enter pngout.
2 In the Create Raster File dialog box, select a folder and enter a file name.
Click OK.
The .png extension is appended to the file name.
