How the link is updated depends on the destination application. Some
applications support automatic updating of links; others require manual
updating of links.
To edit embedded objects
1 Open the document that contains the embedded AutoCAD objects (for
example, a Microsoft Word file).
2 Double-click the embedded objects to start the program and display the
objects.
3 Modify the objects as necessary.
4 To save changes to the embedded objects, click File menu Update.
5 To return to the destination application, click File menu Exit.
To restore an OLE object to its original size and shape
1 Select the OLE object.
2 Right-click.Click OLE Reset.
The Reset option is also available in the Text Size dialog box.
To control the display of OLE objects
1 At the Command prompt, enter olehide.
2 Enter one of the following values:
0 Displays OLE objects in both paper space and model space.
1 Displays OLE objects in paper space only.
2 Displays OLE objects in model space only.
3 Does not display OLE objects.
To turn the display of the frames of OLE objects on or off
1 At the Command prompt, enter oleframe.
2 Enter one of the following values:
0 Frame is not displayed and not plotted.
1 Frame is displayed and is plotted.
