To change the Model and layout tabs to status bar buttons
Right-click the Model tab or a layout tab. Click Hide Layout and Model
Tabs.
To turn on the Model and layout tabs
On the status bar, right-click the Model or layout button. Click Display
Layout and Model Tabs.
