Autodesk Inventor link support is not installed, an error message is displayed
when you select the New Inventor link option on the File menu.
To link an Autodesk Inventor part file
1 Create a link to the file Holder Bracket.ipt in the acadm\tutorial\.
2 Tut_Bracket\Bracket Components folder.
Menu
File ➤ New Inventor Link
3 In the Select template dialog box, click the template am_ansi.dwt, then
click Open.
4 In the Link Autodesk Inventor File dialog box, click Holder Bracket.ipt,
then click Open.
Shading and Rotating Geometry
Use the Mechanical View toolbar to shade and rotate geometry.
To shade a part
1 Activate the Mechanical View toolbar.
