To trim a surface with a projection wire
1 Use
AMPROJECT to trim the body surface with the inlet edge, responding to
the prompts.
Desktop Menu Surface ➤ Edit Surface ➤ Project Trim
Select wires to project: Select wire (1)
Select wires to project: Press
ENTER
Select target surfaces/quilts: Select surface (2)
Select target surfaces/quilts: Press
ENTER
2 In the Project to Surface dialog box, specify:
Direction: Normal
Output Type: Trim Surface
Verify that Keep Original Wires is checked, and choose OK.
The projected wire cut away a portion of body A surface, but the wire was not
deleted.
