Pasting Linked Spreadsheets
Pasting a linked spreadsheet into a drawing provides more flexibility for
working with the table that defines the values for the part versions. The
external spreadsheet can be opened and modified while you are working, and
the results are reflected in the drawing.
To paste a linked spreadsheet into a drawing
1 Use
AMMODE to return to the Part/Assembly environment.
Browser Select the Model tab.
2 Open the spreadsheet.
Browser Right-click Table (tdpart2.xls) and choose Edit.
The Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is displayed.
3 Select the cells to be copied.
4 In Microsoft Excel, choose Edit ➤ Copy.
5 In the drawing, return to Drawing mode.
Browser Select the Drawing tab.
