To suppress silhouette edges from Mechanical Desktop parts
1 Set the
DISPSILH system variable to 1, responding to the prompts.
Command
DISPSILH
Enter new value for DISPSILH <0>: Enter 1
2 Use HIDE to remove the hidden lines from your display.
Desktop Menu View ➤ Hide
Your part should now look like this. The Desktop Browser shows the hierar-
chy of the part features.
3 Return to wireframe display.
Desktop Menu View ➤ Shade ➤ 3D Wireframe
Save your file.
