NOTE By default, AutoCAD Map 3D gives the new index file the same name
as the source file. Be sure that you specify a new name for your filtered point
cloud data store to avoid overwriting your source file.
3 To cancel the indexing process, click Cancel Processing.
4 When AutoCAD Map 3D is done creating the index file, a green check
mark appears next to the file or merge group name. Do one of the
following: To add the point cloud to your map, click Add to Map.
AutoCAD Map 3D adds the point cloud drawing object to your map, and
adds a point cloud layer to the Display Manager.
To remove a filter from your point cloud data
1 In the Display Manager, right-click a point cloud layer and select Filter
Point Cloud.
2 In the Filter Point Cloud dialog box (page 1900), in the Filter By drop-down
box, select the filter type you want to remove.
3 Click Clear Filter.
