XATTACH
Inserts DWG files as an external reference (xref).

Menu: Insert  DWG Reference
Summary
When you attach a drawing file as an xref, you link that referenced drawing
to the current drawing. Any changes to the referenced drawing are displayed
in the current drawing when it is opened or reloaded.
The Select Reference File dialog box (a
standard file selection dialog box (page
723)) is displayed. After you select the DWG files, the
Attach External Reference
dialog box
(page 1172) is displayed.
After the files are attached, you can adjust and clip the xref through the
Ex-
ternal Reference visor
(page 1175).
