You can close a spline so that the start point and end point are coincident
and tangent (C1 continuity).
NOTE Because periodic curves are not currently supported, closed splines and 3D
surfaces created from closed splines may kink when reshaped.
A legacy method for creating approximations of B-splines involves creating a
polyline, and then using the Spline option of the PEDIT command to generate
a spline-fit polyline.
