After establishing a base view, you can create projected views. Projected views are simply projections of
existing views, and they support eight standard view projections: four orthographic and four isometric.
Projected views are drawn using the base view’s projection angle (first angle or third angle). During the
creation of projected views, a parent/child relationship is formed between the selected view and the
projected views. You can select any existing Drawing View object as the parent view as long as it is up to
date. The selected view becomes the parent view while the projected views become the child views. The
projection angle (first or third angle) and all other properties used by the parent view are inherited by the
child views. Once created, some properties of the child views may be modified.
