Editable Patch (Handle) 965
The spinner value is a percent age; zero is
completely transparen t and 100 is completely
opaque.
Select Vertex By group
Color and Il luminati on ra dio buttons—These
buttons determine whether to select vertices by
vertexcolorvaluesorvertexilluminationvalues.
Co lor Sw atchDisplays the Color Selector, where
you can specify a color to match.
Select—Depending on w hich radio button is
selected, selec ts all vertices whose vertex color or
illumination values either match the color swatch,
or are within the range spec ified by the RGB
spinners.
RangeSpecifies a range for the color match.
All three RGB values in the vertex color or
illumination must either match t he color specified
by the Color swatch in Select By Vertex Color, or
be w ithin plus or minus the values in the Range
spinners. Default=10.

The Handle sub-object level in Editable Patch
provides direct access to vertex handles, or vectors,
without going through the Vertex sub-object level.
Handles are st ill accessible at the Vertex sub-object
level, but the Handle level provides enhanced
functionality as follows:
The ability to select multiple handles for
transformation and application of operations
suchasPatchSmoothtothem.
•Usageofthetransformgizmowhen
manipulating hand les.
Elimination of the possibility of inadvertently
transforming vertices.
Support for named select ion sets of handles.
Copying and pasting handles.
