UseEdgeSprings
This is an alternative method
for calculating stretch. When this option is on,
stretch force is based on spr ings along triangle
edges. (Whereas norma lly the stretch and shear
forces are calculated in a more s ophisticated
manner to more accurately reflect the underlying
physics).
Use S olid Friction—Uses the friction of the collision
object to determine friction. Values for collision
can be assigned either to the cloth or the collision
objects. This enables you to set different friction
values for each collision object
Keep ShapeWhen on, preserves the shape of the
mesh. In normal operation, when Cloth creates a
simulation, it tries to "flatten out" the cloth.
The numeric Keep Shape value modulates the
target bend angles to a value between 0.0 a nd
the angles defined by the
target state
.Anegative
value inverts the angles. Range=-100.0 to 100.0.
Default=100.0.
Seams rollout
The S eams sub-object rollout is used to define
seam properties.
On—Tur n the seam on or of f to ma ke it act ive or
inactive.
Cr e as e a n g le—Creates a crease at your seam. The
angle value will determine the angle of the crease
that will b e between the two panels. (Can be
positive or negative depending on which way you
want to crease)
Left: H igh crease a ngle
Right: Low crease angle
Cr e ase S tr e n g t hIncrease or decrease the strength
of your seam. This v alue will effect how much
the seam will resist bending in relation to the rest
of the cloth object. A value of 2.0 means that the
clothwillhavetwicetheresistancetobending
that it would other wise have (as defined by the
object/panel/ver tex group prop erties).
Sewing Stiffness—The amount of force with which
thepanelswillbepulledtogetheratsimulation
time.Alargervaluewillpullthepanelstogether
harder and faster.
Enable All—Sets al l seams on selected garment to
be active.
Disable All—Sets all seams on selected garment to
be off. This button deactivates the On check bo x
for a ll seams.
Faces rollout
The Faces sub-object rollout enables interactive
dragging of cloth objects while they are simulated
locally. This sub-object level is useful for
positioning cloth within your scenes in a more
interactive way.
Note: If you position your cloth incorrectly, you
can restore the original posit ion by returning to
the O bject level and clicking the Reset State button.
