Cloth Modifier 571
Sticky Cloth—
The group sticks to a surface only
after it has collided with that surface.
Self Coll
must be enabled for this constraint to work.
[group list]—Shows all current g roups. The
number of vert ices associated w ith the hig hlighted
group is shown b elow the list. To a ssign, copy,
paste, delete or alter a created group, first highlight
the group name in the list.
Co py—Copies a named selection set to the copy
buffer.
Pas te—Pastes the named selection set from copy
buffer.
Group Parameters rollout
The Group Parameters rollout appears after you
use Make Group on a vertex selection to create at
least one g roup. Thereafter, hig hlight the group
in the Group rollout list to display and edit the
group’s settings with the Group Parameters rollout.
Constraint Parameters group
On—When on, enables the constrai nt specified for
the current group in the group list on the Group
rollout, using remaining settings in this group b ox.
Soft—Sets the constraint type to soft. A sof t
constraint uses springs between vertices. When
off, the constraint is hard or rigid. The constraint
types Node, Surface, Preser ve, Drag, and SimNode
can be hard or soft. Cloth, Group, and Forcefield
constraints are always soft.
ID—Uses a Material ID to attach the group to
an object. This option applies only to Surface
and Cloth constraints. If, w hen the constraint is
created or initialized, the cloth vert ices are not
over a triangle, then the constraint w i l l b e created
